Thanks to a fellow student I have managed to create a homepage on plone over the last week. It proved difficult as I had not changed to KUPU and didn't have the right set up.

I have also been able to help a fellow student to set up their resume by giving them instructions on IM.

I am finally feeling a little more confident with my IT skills.

Have printed off module 2 and need to get to grips with it soon.

Add page numbers and SID

Today I added to all of my LA's. I teaked and added SID and page nubers. I am proud of what I have achieved so far and have enjoyed the challenge. Thank you to all who have given me advice and support over the last 2 days. Tomorrow I am going to reload my pp because a few people have said that they cannot access it........$£!*. MOdule 2 here we come!!

My thought with less than a week to go!

Had to download my LA7 this week. It took about 10 attempts. Found it really frustrating.Taken on board the advice given about Plone being a bit slow.....but only had afew days to finish module 1. I am panicking in case it's not up to scratch. Was given lots of help from a colleague at work re: LA7. Fingers crossed only a few days until module 1 is finished. Have looked at module 2..aaarrggghhh!!!! It looks sooooo difficult!!

Nearly there!!

I can't believe it I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. LA7 is on it's way within the next few days. Was struggling for a while but after putting a few questions on plone it finally came together.

I spent all day Saturday trying to get as much of module 1 done as possible. LA3 and 5 are complete phew!!
Had some great feed back from cohort 6. Thanks guys :0)

I am going to change my ILP today as I looked at LA4 and my organisation is so huge that I am going to pick out 1 person to concentrate on for their role and links. Put a question on plone and received a very helpful reply to my question......must press on lots to do!

The Challenge!

Hi everyone here is a bit of a challenge for you all. Can you learn the British Sign Lanuage alphabet and sign your name.

Yippee!! Have had the meeting and have loads of idea's now.
So over the next week I have set myself the challenge to
complete LA3 and 4. Fingers crossed I will find enough time.

I am still working on LA3 and 4.I am going to have a chat with my line manager at 3.30pm today hopefully this will give me a bit of a kick start. I am struggling!!

Big learning curve!!

I am going to try to put a comment on here every few days.(possible learning journal)
This is me trying to get on with LA3. On my ILP I was a tad adventurous so I may be changing a few things. Have just looked at a few peoples work on Plone and I am hoping that someone will take a look at mine and leave a comment this week.

Monday 18th September

It only took me about an hour to get this far with the blog site..............so I am pretty chuffed with myself. The nerves have just started kicking in for tomorrow is the big day.
